PIERRE SOULAGES 

A French painter, engraver, and sculptor born in 1919, Soulages is also known as "the painter of black," owing to his interest in the colour "both as a colour and a non-colour.

We encourage exploring the evolution of this incredible visual artist, even if you're not into black we find the intrigue in his diversity and discovery of colour and techniques fascinating.
